Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi Named to FIFA 23 Team of the Year After World Cup Success

The performances of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi at the 2022 Qatar World Cup are once again recognized by the Team of The Year, the famous FIFA game.
For the 2nd consecutive year, Achraf Hakimi has been chosen to be included in the FIFA 23 Team of The Year (TOTY) list. He is the only Moroccan to be chosen, while he was in the running with his teammates Sofyan Amrabat and Yassine Bounou.
With better statistics, Achraf Hakimi appears alongside Thibaut Courtois, Theo Hernandez, Virgil Van Dijk, Eder Militao, Jude Bellingham, Kevin De Bruyne, Luka Modric, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Karim Benzema.
