Moroccan Star Achraf Hakimi Nominated for FIFA FIFPRO World 11

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is back on the list of nominees to be among the 11 best players of the year according to FIFA FIFPRO.
Absent from the list in 2021, Achraf Hakimi is the only African to be among the 26 nominees. Considered the best right-back in the world, he is ranked in the category of best defenders.
The PSG player will face:
• João Cancelo (Manchester City/Bayern Munich, Portugal)
• Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich, Canada)
• Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, Netherlands)
• Josko Gvardiol (RB Leipzig, Croatia)
• Théo Hernandez (AC Milan, France)
• Antonio Rüdiger (Chelsea/Real Madrid, Germany)
• Thiago Silva (Chelsea, Brazil)
The FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11 team is made up of the 26 best male players who have stood out during the period from August 8, 2021 to December 18, 2022 inclusive. The list of 11 selected players will be unveiled on February 27.
