PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Sidelined for Crucial Marseille Clash Due to Injury

Injured since February 14 during the round of 16 match that pitted Paris Saint-Germain against Bayern Munich, Achraf Hakimi is still not fit to join his teammates. He will not be lined up for the Clasico against Marseille this Sunday, February 26.
Injured in the hamstrings, Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi is not on the list of players called up by Christophe Galtier for the match against Olympique de Marseille. The Moroccan defender is still not recovered from his injury, according to the coach who, in a recent press conference, said he hopes to recover him for the return match against Bayern Munich, reports Sud Ouest.
Against Marseille this Sunday, February 26 at 8:45 pm for the 25th day of Ligue 1, Hakimi’s position will certainly be occupied by Nordi Mukiele, who is returning from a long absence due to injury. "He is very, very, very close to a starting spot," coach Christophe Galtier had assured on Friday.
PSG, despite the presence of Kylian Mbappé, faces Marseille somewhat diminished with defenders like Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe, variously injured. Achraf Hakimi will not be the only absentee due to injury. Neymar, injured in the right ankle, is also out.
