PSG’s Hakimi to Play Against Bayern Amid Rape Allegations

Achraf Hakimi is returning to the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the clash tonight against Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of 16 second leg.
His presence on the team sheet is, however, overshadowed by a legal case. The right-back is accused by a 24-year-old woman of having raped her on February 25 at his home in Boulogne-Billancourt, in the western suburbs of Paris. This indictment caused a shock within the Parisian club, especially since the player was indicted on March 2 and placed under judicial supervision.
Despite these accusations, the player is authorized to leave French territory and therefore to travel to Germany for this clash against the Bavarians, the Nanterre prosecutor’s office has specified.
