PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Sidelined for Brest Match Due to Injury

PSG will have to do without one of its key players, Achraf Hakimi, for its match against Brest this Saturday evening.
The Moroccan international defender, who is returning from an injury, felt muscle pain after playing the full duration of the return leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Bayern Munich. The PSG had lost this match 2-0.
Hakimi needs rest to recover from his injury, although he did not live up to his usual performances in the match against Bayern. He should resume training next week.
PSG also has to deal with another difficulty concerning Hakimi. The player is currently accused of rape by a young woman allegedly met on social networks. Hakimi denies the facts and claims that he is the victim of an attempted "blackmail". He says he was "deceived and trapped" in this case.
