Morocco World Cup Coach Halilhodzic Hints at Possible Resignation

Vahid Halilhodzic will he still be the coach of the Moroccan national football team at the next 2022 World Cup in Qatar? Opinions are divided on the issue, and the coach himself has said he is ready to resign if necessary.
The Atlas Lions are going to play their sixth World Cup this year. It is normal that they are with Vahid Halilhodzic, the coach who has accompanied them at every stage. But in light of recent events, there is a strong chance that they will participate in this international competition with another coach.
After Morocco’s victory in Casablanca against the Leopards, the coach was not very clear about his future at the head of the national team. But he hinted that he needed rest after this qualification. "For the moment, I mainly need to rest a bit. I also want to think, but first, I’m enjoying it, and then we’ll see," he told the media.
Halilhodzic is the fourth country he has led to the World Cup after Ivory Coast, Algeria and Japan. But he has only lived through the post-qualification phase with one national team. Is it to avoid being fired like in Ivory Coast and Japan that he leaves doubt about a possible resignation? The coming days may shed light on his future at the helm of the Atlas Lions.
