Morocco Football Chief Addresses Coach Halilhodzic’s Future Ahead of World Cup

The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, spoke on several topics concerning the national team, including the future of coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
Speaking on the Space Twitter organized by Soccer212, Fouzi Lekjaa discussed the future of the coach at the helm of the Atlas Lions, a few months before the start of the World Cup in Qatar.
According to him, coach Vahid has the support of the FRMF, but, he stressed, "the fate of the national team is not linked to Vahid Halilhodzic or Fouzi Lekjaa. It must have, on D-Day, the best technical structure to meet the challenges and make the Moroccans proud."
"Nothing is set in stone. We cannot say that he is indispensable and untouchable, just as Fouzi Lekjaa is," he added, emphasizing the changing nature of modern football and its demands. "When the time comes, the decision will be made," affirmed the president, without giving more details.
