Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Responds to Federation President’s Remarks on National Team Future

The Franco-Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodzic reacted to the comments of the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), who recently spoke about his future at the head of the Moroccan team.
"The fate of the national team is not linked to Vahid Halilhodzic or Fouzi Lekjaa. It must have, on D-Day, the best technical structure to meet the challenges and make the Moroccans proud. [...] Nothing is set in stone. We cannot say that he (Vahid) is indispensable and untouchable, just as Fouzi Lekjaa is not. [...] When the time comes, the decision will be made," the FRMF boss recently said on the Space Twitter organized by Soccer212.
Reacting to these comments, Vahid Halilhodzic appears serene. "I have no comments on that, and I’m not interested. [...] Time will tell. I’ve done my job, the results are there, I have no problem," he told Serbian media.
The Franco-Bosnian technician has managed to qualify Morocco for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (November 21-December 18). The Atlas Lions have been drawn into Group E for the group stage of the competition with Belgium, Croatia and Canada.
