Morocco Welcomes First Wave of Female Conscripts in Military Service Push

At the headquarters of the Southern Zone of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Agadir, the first contingent of conscripts for the 2019-2020 military service has arrived. In the lot, the female gender is strongly represented with a workforce of 145 girls.
In total, 2,585 conscripts including 145 girls, from the prefectures and provinces of Agadir Ida-Outanane, Inezgane-Aït Melloul, Taroudant, Tiznit, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Guelmim, Laâyoune and Dakhla belong to the first wave of conscripts for military service.
They are all full of unparalleled enthusiasm and "sure" that they will successfully pass the selection exam to be able to join one of the military service training centers, scattered throughout the different regions of the Kingdom, reports 2M.ma.
On their arrival at the headquarters of the Southern Zone of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the conscripts who are part of the first group were rushing to obtain their admission card from the FAR elements in charge of welcoming the candidates.
According to Colonel-Major Mohamed El Adnani, "this operation is part of the implementation of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the FAR".
