Moroccan Military Conscripts Arrested for Insubordination, Face Trial

In training at the Guercif and El Hajeb centers, four military service conscripts were arrested for refusing to obey direct orders given to them. After being questioned by the Royal Gendarmerie during their 48-hour custody, they await their trial at the Salé military prison, which begins on September 24.
Military service is another name for discipline. Four conscripts in training at the Guercif and El Hajeb centers learned this the hard way. Indeed, according to Le360, they refused to comply with orders from the officers in charge of their training while insulting them.
It was during a physical and sports education exercise. An unworthy attitude of the prestige and rigor required by military service. The officers in charge of the two training centers referred to the competent military hierarchy, which immediately ordered the arrest of the persons concerned and the opening of an investigation.
Questioned by the Royal Gendarmerie after 48 hours of custody, these conscripts were then transferred to the competent prosecutor’s office at the Permanent Military Tribunal of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Rabat. According to Le360, they are being prosecuted for refusing to execute the orders of superiors, disobedience and insolence.
They are meditating on their actions in the Salé military prison. They will appear on September 24 and, already, their lawyers, as a defense system, specify that the four conscripts had joined the military service of their own free will.
