Severe Weather Alert: Moroccan Regions Brace for Intense Thunderstorms and Heavy Rainfall

Heavy thunderstorms are expected this weekend in several Moroccan regions, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Thus, heavy thunderstorms (30-40 mm) are expected, on Saturday and Sunday, in the provinces of Laâyoune, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour and Aousserd, as specified in an orange alert bulletin.
The same phenomenon (20-30 mm), according to the same source, is expected until midnight this Saturday in the provinces of Khénifra, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, El Hajeb, Sefrou, El Hajeb, Khémisset and Al Haouz, it is also indicated.
