Severe Weather Alert: Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds to Batter Multiple Moroccan Regions

Several Moroccan regions will be affected by thunderstorms and gusts of wind on Monday, September 8, 2025, according to the alert issued by the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
Thus, heavy thunderstorms (25-35 mm) with gusts of wind are expected on Monday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM in the provinces of Béni Mellal.
This will also be the case in Azilal, Ifrane, Boulemane, Khénifra, Khouribga, Al Haouz, Taroudant, Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Boujdour, Laâyoune and Oued Eddahab, according to the same source.
