Morocco Unveils Streamlined 23-Member Cabinet Under Prime Minister El Othmani

The rumors had it right. It is a streamlined government that was announced yesterday by Saâdeddine El Othmani. In total, 23 ministers, including 5 delegate ministers, make up the government coalition and the State Secretaries are gone.
For the [Moroccans Residing Abroad (MREs)], it will now be Nezha El Ouafi who will take charge as Delegate Minister. She will be under the leadership of Nasser Bourita who is also retained in his position as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Here is the list of the new Government:
• Saâd Eddine El Othmani: Head of Government
• Mustapha Ramid: Minister of State in charge of Human Rights and Relations with Parliament
• Abdelouafi Laftit: Minister of the Interior
• Nasser Bourita: Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad
• Mohamed Benabdelkader: Minister of Justice
• Ahmed Taoufik: Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs
• Mohamed El Hajjoui: Secretary General of the Government
• Mohamed Benchaâboun: Minister of Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform
• Aziz Akhannouch: Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests
• Saaid Amzazi: Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research
• Khalid Ait Taleb (new): Minister of Health
• Moulay Hafid Elalamy: Minister of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy
• Abdelkader Aamara: Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water
• Nezha Bouchareb (new): Minister of Territorial Planning, Urbanism, Housing and City Policy
• Nadia Fettah Alaoui (new): Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy
• Aziz Rebbah: Minister of Energy, Mines and Environment
• Mohamed Amakraz (new): Minister of Employment and Professional Integration
• Hassan Abyaba (new): Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Government Spokesperson
• Jamila El Moussali: Minister of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality and Family
• Abdellatif Loudiyi: Delegate Minister to the Minister of National Defense Administration
• Noureddine Boutayeb: Delegate Minister to the Minister of the Interior
• Mohcine Jazouli: Delegate Minister to the Minister of Foreign Affairs
• Nezha El Ouafi: Delegate Minister in charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad
• Driss Ouaouicha (new): Delegate Minister in charge of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
