Moroccan Minister’s Ex-Wife Files Complaint with Royal Cabinet Amid Divorce Scandal

The wife of the Minister of Employment and Professional Integration, Mohamed Yatim, is said to have filed a complaint against her husband with the Royal Cabinet.
According to the site Akhbarona, the ex-wife of the Minister denounces the injustice she has suffered, following the marriage of the political figure, a member of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), to a young woman. The Minister had divorced his wife in January 2019, following an affair with a physiotherapist.
Leaders within the PJD would, according to rumors, be behind the complaint, with the aim of removing the Minister from the current Government and depriving him of a new ministerial portfolio.
The site estimates that the complaint would likely have a negative impact on the Minister of Employment, both during his current term and during the government reshuffle expected in a few weeks.
