Morocco Cabinet Reshuffle: King Mohammed VI to Appoint New Ministers

The results of the cabinet reshuffle carried out by Saad Eddine El Othmani will finally be unveiled this Wednesday, October 9, with the appointment of the new Ministers by King Mohammed VI.
Pending the announcement of the new arrivals in the Government, the list of outgoing Ministers has been revealed by some media sources. More than a dozen Ministers will have to give up their portfolio during the cabinet reshuffle.
According to Maghreb24, the new architecture of the Government will be marked by the absence of Lahcen Daoudi, Minister Delegate in charge of General Affairs and Governance, Mohamed Yatim, Minister of Employment and Professional Integration, and Bassima El Hakkaoui, Minister of Family and Solidarity.
Najib Boulif, Secretary of State for Transport, will also be among the outgoing, as well as Mustapha El Khalfi, Minister Delegate in charge of relations with Parliament and civil society, Rachid Talbi El Alami, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Aujjar, Minister of Justice, and Mohamed Sajid, Minister of Tourism.
Furthermore, the call of the Secretary General of the Party of Progress and Socialism to join the opposition will force two other members of the Government to abandon their portfolio, namely Anas Doukkali, Minister of Health and Abdelahad Fassi Fihri, Minister of Land Planning and Urbanism.
