Morocco’s New Minister Pledges Enhanced Support for Expatriate Community

Nezha El Ouafi, the new Delegate Minister to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, in charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRE), took up her new duties on Thursday, October 10. She intends to combine coordination and harmony in the service of the MRE.
Nezha El Ouafi officially took the reins of the Ministry in a context marked by the change of its name.
To this effect, Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, stressed that the Ministry must continue to systematically address all the challenges facing it, with a very high level of execution and performance, in accordance with a diplomacy by objectives, reports the MAP.
For El Ouafi, the new Delegate Minister in charge of the MRE, this is the beginning of a new stage whose watchwords are coordination and harmony, in accordance with the royal guidelines.
Regarding Moroccans residing abroad, "it is important to translate challenges into opportunities, particularly in the areas of economic diplomacy, strengthening cultural ties with Morocco and integration into the development process."
