Morocco Unveils Plan to Engage Expatriate Talent in National Development

The government council will meet this Thursday, under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Saadeddine El Othmani. It is announced that the program to mobilize Moroccan skills abroad will be at the heart of the discussions.
During this council, the Delegate Minister to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, in charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad, will make a presentation on the national program to mobilize Moroccan skills residing abroad, according to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Department.
Several decrees will be taken during this council. These are the decree amending and supplementing the decree relating to the composition and functioning of the national commission of distinctive signs of origin and quality, the one amending the royal decree relating to the special status of interns in public health hospitals, and finally the one relating to licenses and authorizations of activities, installations and sources of ionizing radiation.
The press release specifies that the council will also examine proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution, and further states that at the end of the Council, the government will devote itself to the study of legislative proposals.
