Moroccan Government to Discuss Casablanca Financial Hub Reorganization

The members of the government will hold their weekly session on Thursday, September 24 under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Saâd-Eddine El Othmani. Among other topics to be discussed, the Government Council will look into the reorganization of the financial hub of the city of Casablanca.
At the beginning of the session, the Council will follow the presentation of the Minister of National Education, on the 2020-2021 school year which has started in some places since September 7. He will also present a report on the progress of the implementation of the provisions of the framework law relating to the education, training and scientific research system, in the context of the state of health emergency, indicates a press release from the Prime Minister’s Department.
At the heart of the Council’s work, there will also be the continuation of the draft law amending Article 314 of the Commercial Code and a draft decree-law on the reorganization of the financial hub of Casablanca, "Casablanca Finance City". The members of the government will examine a draft decree amending the decree taken for the application of the law relating to the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency.
