Morocco’s Government to Consider Extending National Health Emergency

The government is holding its council next Thursday under the chairmanship of its head, Saad Dine El Otmani. On the agenda of the work, among other things, a draft decree relating to the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory, the examination of proposals for appointments to high positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
At the beginning of the work, indicates the Department of the Head of Government in this press release relayed by the MAP, the members of the government will be entitled to a presentation by the Secretary General of the Government on the work of the 200 meetings of the Council of Government (April 2017-April 2021).
This will be followed by the examination of a bill amending and supplementing the law on the general partnership, the limited partnership, the joint-stock limited partnership, the limited liability company and the partnership.
The Executive will also look at three draft decrees, the first of which concerns the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the territory of the kingdom to fight against the spread of Covid-19. The second and third modify and supplement the two decrees setting the terms of application of the Collective Retirement Allocation Scheme concerning the general and supplementary schemes.
Finally, the Council will rule on proposals for appointments to high positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
