Morocco's U17 Soccer Stars Urged to Persevere for Future World Cup Success

During a meeting held with the Atlas Lions, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, invited the players of the national under-17 team to show perseverance and take advantage of all the means available to them, in order to develop their technical, physical and tactical level.

It was a frank session full of advice and commitments. The president of the FRMF called on these players, members of the current national team, not to skimp on the means to improve, be fit to defend the colors of Morocco. "You are young, you are now under 17 years old. So, you will have the opportunity to play the U20, U23 competitions to compete in the Olympics and of course, evolve within the A national team to play the World Cups... But if we want to succeed, we must work properly and professionally," said Faouzi Lekjaa to the Atlas Lions.

The president of the FRMF said he was proud to meet the members of the U17 national team who were preparing to represent Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations which should be held in Morocco, but which CAF has canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At the end of this meeting, the captain of the U17 national team congratulated, on behalf of all the players, Fouzi Lekjaa for his election to the FIFA Council, on the occasion of the 43rd General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football.
