Morocco’s Tourism Minister Meets with Industry Leaders to Ensure Safe Reopening

The Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, exchanged on Wednesday, July 1 at the headquarters of the Wilaya of the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, with tourism professionals from Tanger, as well as those from the provinces of Larache, Chefchaouen and Ouezzane.
"This meeting with tourism professionals aims to recall the urgency and priority of implementing all health measures to preserve the safety and health of citizens, Moroccan tourists and sector employees," said the minister, recalling that her ministry has developed and made available to them a health guide.
Nadia Fettah Alaoui hinted that operational visits are continuing on the ground to ensure compliance with health measures. "We will take the necessary measures if the health measures are not respected because preserving the health of citizens and employees is a priority, especially in a context where the epidemic is not over and the government is making the health of the citizen a priority in accordance with the guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI," she added.
