Morocco Reopens Tourism with Strict Health Measures in Place

The Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb, affirmed on Friday, July 10, that all security and health measures are being taken in all cities of Morocco to ensure the successful resumption of tourism activity.
The Minister of Health, during a meeting chaired by the Minister of the Interior, indicated that it is necessary to take all security and health measures to allow Moroccans residing abroad to spend the summer holidays and Eid Al Adha in Morocco under better conditions.
A series of measures have been taken to ensure a good resumption of tourism activity. These include raising awareness among hotel managers to provide a warm welcome to tourists under the required health conditions.
Seeking to reassure about the "stable" health situation in the kingdom, with a low rate of deaths and critical cases, the minister insisted on the need to continue to respect preventive measures, in particular the wearing of masks and social distancing.
