Morocco Unveils New Tourism Strategy to Boost Recovery and International Visitors

The Minister of Tourism announced on Thursday the existence of a new program to promote the tourism sector. Its aim is to facilitate the marketing of the Moroccan destination and to restore confidence in Moroccan and international tourists.
Nadia Fettah Alaoui shared this new program during the Council of Government meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Saad Dine El Otmani. Thus, during the press conference that followed this session, the government spokesman, Saïd Amzazi, indicated that this project, on which the Minister of Tourism made a presentation, also aims to "preserve the economic fabric and employment, accelerate the recovery of tourism activities, restructure the sector and develop domestic tourism promotion programs in partnership with regional and local stakeholders".
During his press conference, the minister spokesman also presented the measures adopted by the Ministry of Tourism to support industry professionals in the implementation of prevention and health measures within their establishments.
