Morocco Adopts New Tourism Regulations Amid Health Emergency

New measures governing the tourism sector in Morocco have been taken. A bill was adopted on Thursday in the Council of Government for this purpose. The government spokesman, Saaid Amzazi announced it during a press briefing, at the end of the Council of Government.
Bill No. 20.30 was adopted in Rabat in the Council of Government. The bill lays down special provisions relating to travel contracts, tourist residences and air passenger transport.
The special provisions of the bill were presented by the Minister of Tourism. They relate to the measures taken in application of Article 5 of Decree-Law No. 2.20.292 which sets out the special provisions for the state of health emergency and the measures for its declaration, indicates Aujourd’hui Le Maroc.
The Minister of National Education and government spokesman, Saaid Amzazi, specified that the voted bill allows the government to take, exceptionally, the necessary measures that can directly contribute to controlling the negative effects of the state of health emergency.
