Morocco Taps Top US PR Firm to Boost Tourism from North America

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has partnered with Violet PR, one of the best public relations firms based in New Jersey, to make Morocco an exclusive travel destination in North America.
The ONMT and Violet PR are now working together to promote Moroccan tourism in North America. The American company will develop and execute a public relations campaign to position Morocco as an exclusive travel destination for North American visitors. Violet PR is tasked with making the best use of its relationships with North American national media, particularly those covering travel and tourism, gastronomy, golf, cinema, architecture and history.
It also has the mission of supporting the ONMT in maintaining relationships with brands, media and production companies in order to further increase the visibility of Morocco in North America, positioning the kingdom among the most sought-after tourist destinations in the world. In addition, Violet PR will have to initiate and organize special media events in major markets such as New York, Austin and Miami, as well as thematic press trips to Morocco in 2023.
"We are thrilled to add Morocco to our growing list of destination clients," said April Mason, President of Violet PR in a statement. "Now that many COVID-19 travel restrictions have been lifted, there is a huge opportunity to put Morocco back on the map as the next trendy destination for luxury travelers, adventurers and families." "With Violet PR’s guidance, we hope to further inspire North American travelers to visit our beautiful country and discover its rich cultural offerings," said Siham Fettouhi, Executive Director for North America at ONMT.
And to add: "Whether it’s spending time on our beaches, enjoying our world-class cuisine and shopping, playing on globally renowned golf courses or exploring the medinas of historic cities like Fez and Rabat, we believe visitors will be captivated by the experience."
