Morocco Surpasses 400,000 COVID-19 Vaccinations, Expects Millions More Doses

More than a week after the launch of the vaccination campaign in Morocco, 408,235 people have been vaccinated, announces the Ministry of Health.
The success of this campaign has been hailed by the health authorities. Since January 25, 2021, Morocco has received 2.5 million vaccines from the Sinopharm and AstraZeneca laboratories.
New stocks should be received in the coming days. 4.5 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine and 700,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine, for a total of 5.2 million doses, will be delivered to Morocco by next week.
These new vaccine doses should allow the vaccination of 2.6 million people after the 1.25 million people vaccinated thanks to the 2.5 million doses already received (2 million of AstraZeneca and 500,000 of Sinopharm).
