Morocco Surpasses 1,000 COVID-19 Recoveries as Cases Reach 4,529

After having recorded a record recovery rate last week, Morocco crossed the 1000 recovery case mark (1055 exactly) this Friday.
To date, 4,529 cases have been reported after the registration of 102 new infections. In addition, the monitoring and tracking platform of the Ministry of Health reports a new death due to the coronavirus, bringing the total to 171.
With these new figures, the Casablanca-Settat region remains the most affected region +29 (1149), followed by Marrakech-Safi +27 (984), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma +19 (616), Fès-Meknès +19 (570), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra +9 (323) and Béni Mellal-Khénifra +3 (83).
As usual, the ministry calls on citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
