Morocco Surpasses 5,000 COVID-19 Cases, Reports 1,565 Recoveries

The new assessment in Morocco stands at 5,000 infections, after the census of 97 new confirmed cases of coronavirus. To date, the number of recovered cases stands at 1,565, with 127 new recoveries against 177 deaths.
The 97 new infections are concentrated in 5 regions, namely: Casablanca-Settat, Fez-Meknes, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and Marrakech-Safi.
As usual, the ministry calls on Moroccans to show responsibility and patriotism by respecting the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the authorities.
