Morocco Surpasses 7,000 COVID-19 Cases, Nears Next Epidemic Stage

With 71 new confirmed cases, Morocco has crossed the symbolic 7,000 case mark (7,023 cases), more than two months after the first case was recorded. With these new figures, the kingdom is approaching stage 3 of the epidemic (10,000 positive cases).
143 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the number of cured people to 3,901 (+143) cases against 193 deaths (+1).
In addition, 93,344 excluded cases and 2,929 ongoing cases were also recorded.
As usual, the ministry calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
