Morocco Surpasses 1,000 COVID-19 Cases as Virus Spreads Across Regions

The counter continues to go haywire in Morocco with new cases of contamination. The Ministry of Health reports 1,021 people tested positive on Sunday evening.
With these new figures, the number of deaths is set at 70, against 76 cases of recovery, the ministry specifies.
Regarding the 1,021 positive cases, they were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (295), Marrakech Safi (186), Rabat Salé Kenitra (181), Fès-Meknès (133), Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima (78), the Oriental (55), Daraa-Tafilalet, (41), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (28), Souss-Massa (19), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), the site specifies.
It should be noted that the Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region has not recorded any cases.
