Morocco’s COVID-19 Cases Surpass 900, Death Toll Rises to 59

Morocco recorded 36 new positive cases this Sunday, April 5, bringing the day’s total to 919 infected patients.
The kingdom has exceeded the bar of 900 infected people, more than a month after the first case of the virus was recorded. To date, 59 deaths have been recorded against 66 cases of recovery.
Furthermore, the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory stands at 3,402, according to the Ministry of Health.
As for the 919 positive cases, they were recorded in the regions of Casa-Settat (248), Rabat Salé Kenitra (171), Marrakech Safi (163), Fès-Meknes (129), Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima (63), the Oriental (54), Daraa-tafilalet, (41), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (26), Souss-Massa (19), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), specifies the same site.
The Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region remains unaffected by any contamination.
