Morocco Reports 1,275 New COVID-19 Cases, Death Toll Rises to 93

A sharp increase in covid-19 infections has been recorded in Morocco with 91 new cases reported.
The toll continues to rise in Morocco. 1,275 new cases tested positive for covid-19 were recorded on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health announced. The new report also shows 93 deaths against 97 cases of recovery and 3,954 cases excluded after negative tests.
For Wednesday, the Casablanca-Settat region, the epicenter of the epidemic in Morocco, is about to cross the 400 mark for positive cases tested (384). It is followed by Marrakech-Safi (228), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (201), Fès-Meknès (161), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (100), the East (73), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (40), Daraa-Tafilalet (61), Souss-Massa (20), and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
More than a month after the first positive case was recorded, the Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region now has its first two covid-19 cases.
