Morocco Soars to 6th Best Global Destination: KAYAK Experts Unveil 2025’s Top Travel Hotspots

Trusted experts from a leading global travel website place Morocco among the top 10 best countries to visit in the world in 2025.
Morocco ranks sixth in the ranking of the 10 best countries to visit in the world for the rest of the year 2025, established by trusted experts from the leading global travel website, KAYAK, for Forbes. The kingdom owes this position to its red dunes of the Sahara and its magnificent cities. "In Fez, narrow, shaded alleys wind through the medina, along paved courtyards of mosaics and the pungent smell of leather dye vats. Meanwhile, Marrakech hums with the clinking of ironworkers and the cries of merchants under the ochre walls and cafes with lantern-lit roofs overlooking the minarets," describe the experts.
They add: "Along the coast, the salty winds of Essaouira flap the blue shutters and gulls circle above the crumbling, salt-stained ramparts. Inland, gnarled olive groves and twisted argan trees dot the cinnamon-colored hills, and Berber villages cling to slopes carved by centuries of footsteps. The crown jewel? In Chefchaouen, the blue-painted streets climb towards the Rif mountains, serene but vigilant." And they continue: "Marrakech stands out as one of the long-haul destinations offering the best value for money, with flight prices down 5% compared to last summer on KAYAK."
"Morocco shimmers like a mirage," summarizes the publication. Zimbabwe tops the ranking, followed by Lithuania and Sri Lanka. Then come South Korea and Argentina. Norway takes seventh place, while Moldova takes eighth. Hong Kong and Denmark round out the podium.
