The authorities of the province of Youssoufia have decided to close about ten cafes and game rooms. The reason is the non-compliance with the preventive measures issued by the authorities.
In detail, 11 decisions to close offending cafes were taken from August 6 to 13, according to a statement from the province of Youssoufia.
The officials say they have stepped up inspection tours and encouraged cafe and game room owners to strictly comply with these measures. The aim of this approach is to protect the health of citizens and curb the spread of the pandemic.
According to the authorities, the owners had been sufficiently warned before the sanction was imposed.
