Morocco Sets Entrance Exam Dates for Medical and Pharmacy Programs

The ministerial note "aims to strengthen equity and equal opportunities among all candidates by setting the conditions for access to the competitions, as well as the pre-selection threshold at a score of 14.14, contrary to what has been reported," indicates the press release from the Ministry.

Regarding the duration of the training, the Note specifies that the number of years in the Medical field is set at 7 years, at 6 years for Dentistry and Pharmacy. The three streams are crowned by a Doctorate degree.

The entrance exams for the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy will take place, according to the schedule set out in Ministerial Notes 01/487 and 01/488. For the "Medicine" stream, the competition will take place on July 18, 2019, in the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry in Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Fez, Oujda, Agadir and Tangier. It will take place on July 19 for the "Dentistry" stream, in the Faculties of Dentistry in Rabat and Casablanca and on July 20 for the "Pharmacy" stream, in the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rabat and Casablanca.

For private and partner faculties, the exams will take place on July 25, 26 and 27, for the Faculties of the "Mohammed VI" University of Health Sciences in Casablanca, on July 23 at the International University of Rabat and on July 29 at the Private University of Marrakech.
