Moroccan Professor Elected First Arab Woman to Lead Global Dental Federation

Ihsane Benyahya, Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry in Casablanca, and President of the Dental Medicine and Care Consultation Center at the Ibn Rochd University Hospital Center, was elected, on Saturday, September 7, in San Francisco, President of the International Dental Federation.
According to the website, Ahdath info, the Professor is the first Moroccan and Arab woman to have been chosen for this position, especially since this organization, which is recognized by the United Nations and the World Health Organization, is a reference in dentistry, internationally.
Ihsane Benyahya enjoys the strong support of the National Bureau of Dental Surgeons, which considers her a "highly qualified personality, with a great sense of ethics and national pride". According to this body, "she has long worked, with the other members of the Office, to raise awareness of oral hygiene".
Her many experiences in dentistry, both in Morocco and abroad, allow her to be an elected official worthy of the presidency of the International Federation.
