Moroccan Medical Students Win International Emergency Simulation Competition

A team of Moroccan medical students has just won the International Medical Simulation Competition (SIMCUP) held on Monday in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Moroccan team, according to the MAP, was composed of students from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Oujda. At the end of the competition, it won the first prize of this competition by defeating France in the final.
The SIMCUP was initiated by the European Society for Emergency Medicine. During the competition, students are faced with a real but simulated emergency situation, with the educational objective of achieving mastery without endangering the patient.
And this is not the first time that the team from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Oujda has been identified for the quality of its performances.
It had previously stolen the show from the UK team in the semi-finals, after occupying the first place in the first round of the competition, which takes place in English.
Teams from Ireland, the Czech Republic, and Brazil also participated. The Moroccan team had already won the 3rd edition of the national SIMCUP, organized in Fez in July 2018.
