The month of Rabi-I 1445 of the Hijri calendar will begin on Sunday, September 17, 2023 and Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui will be celebrated on Thursday, September 28, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced.

The ministry said in a statement that the observation of the crescent moon of the month of Rabi-I 1445 of the Hijri calendar took place on Friday, 29 Safar 1445 of the Hijri calendar corresponding to September 15, 2023, after sunset, specifying that "all delegates of Islamic affairs in the Kingdom and the units of the Royal Armed Forces associated with the observation have confirmed the non-observation" of the crescent moon.

As a result, the month of Safar will have counted 30 days and the 1st of Rabi-I 1445 of the Hijri calendar will begin on September 17, 2023, while Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui will be celebrated on Thursday, September 28.
