Morocco Sets Date for Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui 2024 Celebration

The date of Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui in Morocco is now known. It has just been revealed by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.
The month of Rabi-I 1446 of the Hegira will begin on Thursday, September 5, 2024 and Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui will be celebrated on Monday, September 16, the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs announced on Tuesday evening.

The observation of the lunar crescent of the month of Rabi-I 1446 took place on Tuesday, Safar 29, 1446 of the Hegira, corresponding to September 3, 2024, after sunset, it was added, specifying that "all the delegates of Islamic affairs in the Kingdom and the Units of the Royal Armed Forces associated with the observation have confirmed the non-observation" of the lunar crescent.
As a result, the month of Safar will have lasted 30 days and the 1st of Rabi-I 1446 of the Hegira will begin on Thursday, September 5, 2024, while Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui will be celebrated on Monday, September 16.
