Ramadan 2024 Begins March 12 in Morocco, Ministry Confirms

The month of Ramadan will indeed begin on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Morocco. The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced this on Sunday, March 10, after observing the crescent moon.
The ministry indicates that it observed the crescent moon of the blessed month of Ramadan this Sunday, 29 Sha’aban 1445 of the Hijri calendar, corresponding to March 10, 2024 after the Al-Maghrib prayer, specifying that "all the ministry’s delegates in the Kingdom and the units of the Royal Armed Forces associated with the observation have confirmed the non-observation of the crescent moon".
As a result, the month of Sha’aban will have counted 30 days and the 1st of Ramadan will correspond to Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
