Morocco Set to Acquire Israel’s Advanced "Iron Dome" Missile Defense System

Announced on an official visit to Morocco in the very near future, the Israeli Minister of Defense, Benny Gantz, could conclude the sale to the kingdom of the anti-missile system called "Iron Dome".
This is one of the most powerful air defense systems in the world developed by the Israeli company Rafael, with the help of American funds in particular. As reported by the website Info Defensa, Minister Gantz should sign the sale of this device to Morocco during his next visit to Rabat.
The Israeli anti-missile defense system is used as a highly mobile dual-mission device, designed to shoot down very short-range targets (VSHORAD) as well as rockets, artillery and mortars (C-RAM), aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), precision-guided munitions and cruise missiles.
In addition to concluding the sale of the "Iron Dome", the minister will sign cooperation agreements, including the project to develop a military industry in Morocco. Similarly, the two countries are currently working in the field of military drones.
