Morocco’s Rising Stars: Eight Nationals Named Among Africa’s Top 100 Influential Leaders

Nasser Bourita and Walid Regragui and six other Moroccans are on the list of the 100 influential personalities of the year 2022, according to the Nigerian magazine The New Africa.
For the media, it is a matter of celebrating and honoring the men and women who have made their mark in 2022 by "showing great resilience in their different fields". The year 2022 has been interesting in Africa. "We have seen the emergence of a new generation of leaders in almost all sectors" in Africa, writes the magazine, which has made a list of 100 people among whom there are eight Moroccans.
These are Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Methqal, Ambassador Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), Imane Ouaadil, Moha Ou Ali Tagma and Abdelmalek Kettani, respectively Ambassadors of Morocco to Ghana, Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire.
On the list, there is also the national coach of the Atlas Lions, Walid Regragui named best coach of the World Cup. The two last personalities spotted by the Nigerian magazine are Ilham Kadri, CEO of the Solvay chemicals group and Abdelkrim Bennani, president of the Ribat Al Fath association for sustainable development.
