Morocco Rises to 22nd in FIFA World Rankings After African Cup Qualifier Wins

Buoyed by its successes against South Africa (2-1) and Liberia (2-0) in the qualifiers for the 2023 CAN, Morocco has risen two places in the FIFA ranking and now occupies the 22nd position worldwide.
According to the figures published by the international football body, the Atlas Lions have gained 7.02 points, reaching 1551 points against 1558 points in the last ranking.
At the African level, the position of the Moroccan team remains unchanged. The Kingdom retains its second place behind Senegal, the current African champion.
At the global level, the FIFA ranking is dominated by Brazil, followed by Belgium, Argentina, France and England, which completes this top 5.
