Morocco Reports Record Surge in COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Exceed 2,500

259 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Morocco. This brings the number of recorded cases to 2,528 infected people, more than a month after the first COVID-19 case was recorded.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of deaths stands at 133 with 3 new deaths, while the number of recovered cases stands at 273 after 24 new recoveries.
Furthermore, the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results in the laboratory is 9,995.
As for the new distribution map, the Casa-Settat region has now crossed the 700 case mark (702), followed by Marrakech-Safi (643) and Fès-Meknès (358).
