Morocco Reports Record 2,234 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours, Total Surpasses 72,000

A record 2,234 new coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours in Morocco, bringing the number of recorded cases to 72,394 infected people, more than five months after the first Covid-19 case was recorded.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of deaths stands at 1,331 with 32 new deaths, while the number of recovered cases stands at 55,274 after 1,345 new recoveries today.
Furthermore, the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results in the laboratory is 1,997,659.
As for the new distribution map, the Casablanca-Settat region is approaching 20,000 cases (19,849), followed by Marrakech-Safi (10,764) and Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (10,095).
