Morocco Reports 69 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 5,915

Morocco recorded 69 deaths due to the coronavirus. The number of people who have died from Covid-19 in the Kingdom since the start of the epidemic stands at 5,915 deaths with a fatality rate of 1.6%.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region announces 13 deaths, including 12 in Casablanca and 1 in Sidi Bennour. In the Souss-Massa region, there are 11 deaths with 7 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 4 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and the Oriental each record 7 deaths. Skhirate-Témara, Salé, Rabat and Khémisset record 3, 2, 1 and 1 deaths respectively, against 2 deaths in Tanger-Assilah, 2 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Larache, 1 in Ouezzane and 1 in Chefchaouen. In the Oriental region, there are 3 deaths in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Taourit, 1 in Jerada, 1 in Guercif and 1 in Figuid. Then come Marrakech-Safi, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Fès-Meknès, each recording 5 deaths. While Marrakech records 3 deaths against 2 in Youssoufia, Laâyoune and Boujdour report 4 and 1 deaths respectively. As for Fès-Meknès and Ifrane, they indicate 2, 2 and 1 deaths respectively.
In Guelmin-Oued-Noun, there are 4 deaths, all in Guelmin. It is followed by Darâ-Tafilalet, which announces 3 deaths, including 2 in Tinghir and 1 in Ouazarzate. Covid-19 caused 1 death in Beni Mellal-Khénifra.
