Morocco Reports 35 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Rises to 6,624

35 deaths due to the coronavirus were recorded in 24 hours in Morocco, the Ministry of Health said, bringing the total number since last March to 6,624 deaths in the Kingdom.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, 7 deaths were recorded, all in Casablanca. In Souss-Massa, there were also 7 deaths, including 3 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 2 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul, 1 in Tiznit and 1 in Tata.
The Oriental region recorded 5 deaths with 2 deaths in Oujda-Angad, 2 in Berkane and 1 in Jerada. It is followed by Fès-Meknès which announces 4 deaths including 1 in Fès, 1 in Taounate and 1 in Meknès and 1 other in Sefrou. Then come Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, each with 3 deaths. Skhirate-Témara and Rabat report 2 and 1 deaths respectively, against 1 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in Tétouan and 1 in Al Hoceima.
Marrakech-Safi and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra each record 2 deaths. While Marrakech and El Kelâa des Sraghna have 2 and 1 deaths respectively, Laâyoune alone has 2 deaths. In the Guelmin-Oued-Noun and Daraâ-Tafilalet regions, there is 1 death respectively in Guelmin and Errachidia.
