Morocco Reports 75 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Rises to 6,320

The death toll from Covid-19 in Morocco is on the rise again with 75 deaths recorded in 24 hours. The number of people who have died from the coronavirus now stands at 6,320.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region reports 22 deaths, including 18 in Casablanca, 2 in El Jadida, 1 in Berrechid and 1 in Settat. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra records 8 deaths, including 2 in Skhirate-Témara, 2 in Rabat, 2 in Khémisset, 1 in Salé and 1 in Sidi Kacem.
In the Marrakech-Safi region and Souss-Massa, there are 7 deaths. 4 deaths are recorded in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in Youssoufia and 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna, while Tata records 3 deaths against 3 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Tiznit. Next come the Oriental, Fès-Meknès and Guelmin-Oued-Noun, each reporting 6 deaths. If Oujda-Angad announces 3 deaths against 2 in Taourirt and 1 in Berkane, Fès, Meknès and Sefrou respectively record 2 deaths. As for Guelmin and Sidi Ifni, they have 4 and 2 deaths respectively.
Béni Mellal-Khénifra indicates 5 deaths, including 2 in Fquih Ben Salah against 1 in Béni Mellal, 1 in Khénifra and 1 in Khourigba. Covid-19 caused 4 deaths in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima with 2 deaths in Tétouan, 1 in Larache and 1 in Tanger-Assilah. 3 patients died in Drâa-Tafilalet with 2 deaths in Errachidia and 1 in Tinghir. Only 1 death was recorded in Laâyoune in the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region.
