Morocco Reports 48 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Reach 6,184

The death toll from coronavirus is still declining with 48 deaths recorded in 24 hours. Since last March, the number of people who have died from Covid-19 stands at 6,184.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, coronavirus has claimed 12 lives, all in Casablanca. Rabat-Salé-Kenitra and Souss-Massa each recorded 9 deaths. Sidi Kacem has 3 deaths against 3 in Salé, 2 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Rabat, while Inezgane-Ait Melloul has 4 deaths against 3 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 2 in Tiznit.
In the Marrakech-Safi region, there are 5 deaths with 3 in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira and 1 in Chichaoua. It is followed by Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima which has 3 deaths, including 2 in Tétouan and 1 in Al Hoceima. Then come the Oriental, Guelmin-Oued-Noun, Fès-Meknès and Darâa-Tafilalet, each with 2 deaths. If Nador and Driouch recorded 1 death, Guelmin recorded 2 deaths against 1 death respectively in Meknès and Séfrou. As for Errachidia and Ouarzazate, they each indicate 1 death.
Béni Mellal-Khénifra and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra each have 1 death, respectively in Khénifra and Laâyoune.
