Morocco Reports 38 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 6,749

Morocco recorded 38 deaths due to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health said. The number of people who have succumbed to Covid-19 in the Kingdom stands at 6,749.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 13 deaths, including 9 in Casablanca, 1 in El Jadida, 1 in Berrechid, 1 in Mediouna and 1 in Sidi Bennour. The coronavirus claimed 9 lives in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, including 3 in Salé, 2 in Rabat, 2 in Khémisset, 1 in Sidi Slimane and 1 in Skhirate-Témara.
As for Marrakech-Safi and Souss-Massa, they each recorded 4 deaths. Marrakech and Essaouira recorded 3 and 1 deaths respectively, while Inezgane-Ait Melloul recorded 2 deaths against 1 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and 1 in Tiznit. They are followed by the Oriental region, which announced 3 deaths, including 1 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Berkane and 1 in Guercif.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Fès-Meknès each reported two deaths. Tétouan and Al Hoceima recorded 1 death each, against 1 death in Sefrou and 1 in Ifrane. In the Darâa-Tafilalet region, only one person died in Ouarzazate.
